Ring of Fire Science Lessons
We provide quality textbooks, science kits and video lessons for students in grades K-12. Each lesson is accompanied with a fun hands-on activity which requires
simple items that are easily obtained. All textbooks are in color and are
available as printed textbooks or CDs. The CDs are digital textbooks in full color PDF files
compatible with any computer that has downloaded the free Adobe Acrobat program.
Our DVDs contain video lessons taught by the author that supplements information
in the textbook. The DVDs do not contain any information on the quizzes or
activities found in the textbooks.
Level 2 CD, printed textbook, DVD and rocks
- Activity Books for PreK- 2nd Grade Students
- The activity books are designed for PreK-2nd grade
students. There are 15 hands-on activities in each book with a mini-lesson
for young students. The activities in the books can also be used by older
students to enhance their learning when using science textbooks that do not provide hands-on
activities. Activity books are available as printed textbooks or CDs.

- Level 1 Materials for 3rd - 6th Grade
Students

The materials in Level I are designed for students in
grades 3-6. Textbooks contain 12 lessons, quizzes and hands-on
activities. Units of study include the rock cycle, minerals, volcanoes and
earthquakes. Kits contain rock samples that are used to enhance the learning
of the student.
The Rock and Mineral
Identification Book is a field guide for students to use in the
identification of rocks and minerals based on lessons in Kits 1-4 and Kit 6.
Textbooks are designed to be completed in one month by students completing
three lessons per week. Each lesson is approximately 1 hour in length.

- Level 2 Materials for 6th -12 Grade
Students

The materials in Level II are designed for students in
middle school and high school. The
textbooks include 16 lessons, 16 quizzes and 16 hands-on activities. Units
of study include Earth Science, earthquakes, volcanoes and the rock cycle.
Textbooks are designed to be completed in six weeks by students completing
three lessons per week. Each lesson is approximately 1 hour in length.
