About Ring of Fire Ring of Fire Science Company, LLC is a family owned business located in Oregon. The name of our company was inspired by the term geologists use for the land surrounding the Pacific Ocean where 70% of the world's active volcanoes are located and 81% of great earthquakes occur. We started with one igneous rocks textbook and a set of rocks. Our line of science materials has expanded in the last eight years. Today we offer 20 different printed textbooks and CDs. We have 15 DVDs that contain video lessons for our Level 1 and Level 2 books. This year we introduced a number of different rocks in our kits and now have 8 different sets of rocks for our kits. We are committed to providing quality science materials for students interested in science. Home schooling families have found our materials to be fun, exciting and easy to use. We have three levels of science materials for home schooling parents and classroom teachers.
It is our company's goal to create science materials that are fun and exciting for students of all ages. We recently introduced DVDs containing video lessons taught by the author for your textbooks in Level 1 & Level 2. Home schooled students can watch the video and complete the science lessons at their own pace. Students that are absent when classroom teachers present lessons can watch the video and make up their assignment on their own time when they return after an illness. We are constantly trying to improve and keep up to date with our materials and information. About the Author
